Job Description

Community Association Attorney - Florida Panhandle (Emerald Coast Preferred) McCabe | Ronsman is seeking a Community Association Attorney with an existing book of business to join our growing practice in the Florida Panhandle, with a preference for candidates located along the Emerald Coast (Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City Beach, Santa Rosa Beach). This role is ideal for a self-driven attorney looking to expand their practice in a collaborative, growth-focused environment with strong firm support and a growing regional client base. What You'll Do Advise community association clients (HOAs and condominiums) on governance, compliance, and operational matters Manage and grow your existing client relationships while expanding your practice in the region Represent clients in litigation, hearings, mediations, and depositions Draft and revise governing documents, including Declarations, CC&Rs, Bylaws, and Rules & Regulations Counsel board members on covenant enforcement, disputes, and regulatory compliance Attend board and annual meetings as a trusted legal advisor Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth initiatives Stay current on Florida community association law and proactively advise clients What We're Looking For J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership (Florida) Proven experience in litigation, collections, or community association law Portable book of business and/or established client relationships Strong client service mindset with the ability to independently manage and grow a practice Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Entrepreneurial approach with a desire to build within a team-oriented firm What Sets You Apart Experience in community association (HOA/condo) law Established relationships with property managers, boards, or developers Interest in expanding presence in the Florida Panhandle market Location Based in the Florida Panhandle, with preference for candidates in or near the Emerald Coast, or those seeking to establish a regional presence Why Join Us Platform to grow and expand your existing practice Collaborative environment Strong firm reputation and expanding client base Opportunity to play a key role in the firm's regional growth strategy
