Are you 1-3 years into your legal career and ready to build a serious book of work on your own terms? We're a fast-growing civil litigation firm in Brentwood, TN looking for a sharp, self-driven attorney who wants to hustle, learn fast, and earn well. This is a 1099 contract role starting at 10-20 hours per week with real room to grow.Do the math:
at our rates, a motivated attorney can clear $100K+ working part-time hours. We cover malpractice insurance. You keep the flexibility.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Handle real litigation from day one. Practice areas include general civil litigation, real estate, and business law across general sessions, chancery, circuit court, and court of appeals. You'll research, draft, negotiate, and appear in court. We want someone who's already comfortable on their feet and seen the inside of a courtroom.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR 1-3
years of litigation experience (civil preferred) Active Tennessee law license — required Local to Middle Tennessee — court appearances are mandatory and non-negotiable Familiar with Tennessee rules of procedure and local court rules You can write well, think on your feet, and manage your own caseload You don't need your hand held — you need opportunityWHAT WE PROVIDE
$65- 80/hr on hours billed Malpractice insurance covered by the firm Case management software, firm email, and legal research platform Bonus and commission structure on top of hourly rate Flexibility to build your book and bring on your own clients A pipeline of work that grows with your performance
WHAT YOU PROVIDE
Your own computer, equipment, and cell phone Reliable transportation (most appearances are Middle TN, some statewide) The drive to perform without micromanagement- This role is remote-friendly but requires a local presence.
