Trustpoint is excited to partner with a leading global media and entertainment organization in its search for a Digital Antipiracy Counsel to support online enforcement and anti-piracy initiatives on a long-term contract basis. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of intellectual property, technology, and digital media, with exposure to high-impact enforcement strategies and cross-functional collaboration.Responsibilities:
Assist with online enforcement initiatives, including website infringements, social media issues, and domain name recovery Support the development and execution of digital media enforcement strategies Conduct and support online investigations into piracy incidents and users, partnering with internal teams and external investigative services Confirm rights in selected works and contribute to enforcement matters from initial investigation through resolution Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements and amendments, and advise internal stakeholders on contractual terms Collaborate with internal business teams, legal and technology vendors, outside counsel, and industry partners Monitor and participate in industry groups focused on anti-piracy efforts Stay current on evolving legal, policy, and technology developments related to intellectual property and digital enforcement Manage multiple high-priority projects with strong attention to detail, organization, and efficiencyQualifications:
JD or equivalent from an accredited law school Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing, or eligibility to register as In-House Counsel 5+ years of experience in a law firm or a combination of law firm and in-house environments Experience handling intellectual property matters, including anti-piracy enforcement and licensing Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills Experience with online enforcement strategies and distribution or licensing agreements preferred Familiarity with international intellectual property frameworks preferredSchedule:
Hybrid schedule: Monday through Thursday in office, Friday remoteDuration & Compensation:
Special project expected to start in June and run through February 2027 Pay rate of $90-$100/hour, commensurate with experience This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge digital enforcement work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting a globally recognized brand.
