Job Description:
Innovative Driven is currently seeking a professional and experienced eDiscovery Counsel with a strong technical background in Relativity and prior experience managing document review teams to join the eDiscovery team at one of our most innovative and collaborative law firm DC clients! The firm specializes in expertly handling complex dispute resolution for its clients, and it prides itself on its inventive dedication to excellence. The legal team focuses on building long-term relationships with clients by providing unmatched skill, innovation, and work ethic to every matter. The position is hybrid, with two days a week onsite in the DC office and three days remote, and the core hours are 9:00-5:30 ET.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Advise, create, and manage TAR 1 and TAR 2 workflows Consult with legal teams, handle data processing workflows, and ensure document productions comply with both court rules and data privacy Utilize AI tools in the eDiscovery and matter management process Manage workflows for the internal staff attorney team and contract attorney teams Organize, plan and prepare for projects and deadlines Communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing with attorneys, peers, vendors, and other firm members, and ensure communications are timely and appropriate Advise stakeholders and clients on eDiscovery best practices, ESI protocols, and emerging legal tech trends
REQUIREMENTS
J.D. and must be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and the state in which they reside (or have the ability to waive into either jurisdiction as soon as administratively possible) Significant electronic document review experience and strong technology skills, including high proficiency using eDiscovery applications (including Relativity - certifications preferred), document management platforms, Adobe, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A combination of large law firm and vendor-side eDiscovery experience is ideal
