POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently expanding into Northern California and seeking a full-time attorney to join our team. This is a fully remote position . Ideal candidate will have at least 3-8 years of plaintiff's

• side employment litigation experience. Exceptionally strong research and writing skills are essential. We offer a base salary plus generous bonus structure, with a heavy emphasis on work

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Promptly prosecute cases through written and oral discovery from case inception all the way until trial. Fact investigation, legal research and writing, propounding and responding to discovery, and document review. Regular communication with clients, experts and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner. Draft necessary motions and participating in informal discovery conferences. Engage in settlement discussions, negotiations and attending mediations. Actively participate in jury trials and arbitration hearings. Calendar and manage court deadlines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS 3-8

years of plaintiff's-side employment litigation experience required. Proficient legal research and writing skills. Ability to autonomously prosecute employment cases from inception until trial. Experience taking/defending depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and handling discovery independently is required. Trial experience is highly preferred. Interest in employment law, including all aspects of individual FEHA/wrongful termination cases and/or wage and hour class actions. Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure. • $250,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) plus generous performance bonuses
