Location:
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Clifton, New Jersey, with a convenient office location near major highways and flexibility for qualified candidates who can reliably commute to the office.
Note:
Candidates must be actively licensed in New Jersey and have 2+ years of estate planning experience, including drafting estate planning documents and conducting client consultations. New York admission and WealthCounsel experience are strong pluses. Confidential Employer. Job Description Lead client consultations and advise individuals and families on customized estate planning strategies. Draft, review, and oversee estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related planning tools. Manage the client experience from initial consultation through drafting, signing, and follow-up. Help strengthen and systemize the estate planning practice through improved workflows, SOPs, and service delivery. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, support staff, and leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality legal work. Partner with the firm's marketing and leadership teams to support practice growth, client education, and seminar-based business development. Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff as the estate planning department continues to expand. Stay current on estate planning, tax, elder law, and asset protection developments to provide thoughtful legal guidance. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active New Jersey Bar admission required. 2+ years of focused estate planning experience. Strong drafting experience with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents. Experience conducting client consultations and explaining complex legal concepts clearly. Strong communication, organization, and client service skills. New York Bar admission is a plus. WealthCounsel experience is a plus. Must be able to commute to the Clifton, NJ office as needed for a hybrid schedule.
