Job Description
ADI Global Distribution is a leading global specialty distributor of professionally installed low-voltage products serving commercial and residential markets, including security, professional audio-visual (AV), smart living, data communications, and networking solutions. With approximately $4.8 billion in annual revenue, 200+ locations across 20+ countries, over 4,100 team members, and more than 100,000 customers worldwide. ADI is expected to become an independent publicly traded company upon completion of a tax-free spin-off from Resideo Technologies, Inc., targeted between mid-Q3 and mid-Q4 2026. Position Summary This is a high-visibility, high-trust role providing comprehensive executive administrative support to the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary and the Chief People Officer. The role demands exceptional judgment, discretion, and organizational acumen, as the individual will routinely handle highly confidential legal, HR, corporate, and board-level information, particularly important as ADI establishes itself as a newly independent public company. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can independently manage complex and competing priorities, and is comfortable engaging with Board members, C-suite executives, outside counsel, and external advisors. JOB DUTIES
Executive Assistant Support - General Counsel & Chief People Officer Manage complex executive calendars, scheduling meetings, prioritizing appointments, and coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements Serve as a key conduit between the C-Suite and Board of Directors Coordinate logistics for board meetings, conferences, company events, and off-site retreats Schedule board and committee meetings and ensure timely communication of agendas and materials Build board books and upload materials to the Diligent board portal Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, executive briefings, and board meeting materials Screen and prioritize phone calls, emails, and communications on behalf of executives Process and manage expense reports in a timely and accurate manner Maintain confidential records, contracts, and personnel files with strict discretion Conduct research and prepare executive summaries and briefing documents Liaise with internal departments, clients, vendors, and board members on behalf of senior leadership Mentor junior administrative staff as needed Support special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by executive leadershipMUST HAVES
7+ years executive assistant experience, including C-suite support Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Board tools (e.g., Diligent) Exceptional communication and organizational skills Ability to manage competing priorities independently with strong attention to detail Professional presence and comfort engaging with senior leaders and Board membersWE VALUE
Experience in distribution, industrial, or global environments Familiarity with SEC processes, proxy cycles, and governance practices Experience supporting a spin-off, IPO, or major transactionKey Competencies Discretion & Judgment:
