What You Will Do Draft pleadings and other legal documents using Microsoft Office and legal forms software, including discovery and disclosures Prepare matters for hearings and trial by organizing evidence, exhibits, and binders Manage physical and digital case files and workflows in Clio Assist with billing and collections in Clio, including time entry, invoice generation, and client follow-up Serve as a professional first point of contact by answering phones, routing calls, and welcoming clients Interview prospective and current clients and summarize information for attorneys Review and summarize legal documents and discovery Coordinate calendars, deadlines, and scheduling Collaborate closely with attorneys on case management and workflow
Required Qualifications:
Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting At least 3 years of family law experience, including hands-on use of family law forms, or comparable directly relevant experience Strong command of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent legal writing and proofreading skills Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow through Comfort with office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining supplies Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills with clients A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred:
