Location:
Knoxville, Tennessee area. Hybrid flexibility is available for attorneys who can regularly meet with clients and collaborate with the team in person.
Note:
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Tennessee and have at least 3+ years of family law experience. Attorneys with 5+ years of family law experience are strongly preferred. Job Description Represent clients in a broad range of family law matters. Handle cases involving divorce, custody, support, and related litigation. Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence. Advise and communicate with clients throughout the legal process. Participate in mediation and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes. Prepare cases for hearings and trial. Manage consultations and maintain strong client conversion rates. Develop and maintain referral relationships and business development efforts. Attend networking and community events to expand professional visibility. Collaborate with support staff to maximize efficiency and client service. Contribute to personal and firm branding through community involvement and professional engagement. Qualifications Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Active Tennessee Bar license. 3+ years of family law experience required. 7+ years of overall attorney experience preferred. Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships. Mediation experience preferred. Trial experience preferred.
