Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Family Law / Litigation Attorney to join our team remotely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, including family law matters, general and commercial litigation, and specialized legal areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, negotiation, and litigation skills, with a passion for advocating clients' rights and navigating complex legal issues. Responsibilities Manage and litigate family law cases such as divorce, child custody, visitation, and support matters with professionalism and precision Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements Prepare for court proceedings by organizing case files, evidence, and procedural documentation Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining client interests in various legal disputes Maintain accurate case management records using legal case management software Stay updated on evolving laws related to family law, immigration law, securities law, tribal regulations, and other relevant areas Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in State Bar of Michigan Proven experience in family law and general litigation with a strong understanding of procedural law Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlement resolutions Experience with legal motion preparation and procedural law knowledge Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple cases efficiently Join our team to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives through dedicated legal advocacy. Pay:
$88,000.00 - $138,000.00 per year
