Family Law Paralegal

is a well-established Bay Area family law firm known for delivering strategic, high-quality legal representation in complex matters. As a Family Law Paralegal , you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys across divorce, child custody, and high-asset cases - managing case files, drafting legal documents, coordinating deadlines, and helping to prepare for hearings and trials, all within a collaborative, hybrid work environment with no billable-hour requirement. To thrive as a Family Law Paralegal, you should have: Minimum 2+ years of family law paralegal/legal assistant experience, in a law firm setting preferred Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved program preferred) or equivalent legal training/education Strong knowledge of California family law procedures, court rules, and e-filing systems (San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa preferred) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with Dropbox and legal document preparation software preferred Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and legal writing/editing skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Your responsibilities as the Family Law Paralegal will include: Support attorneys in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division matters Draft, review, and file legal documents, pleadings, discovery, and court forms in compliance with California court rules Manage and organize electronic case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of legal records and documentation Conduct legal research, track court deadlines, maintain attorney calendars, and coordinate filings and service of process Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit binders, trial notebooks, mediation (MSC) prep, and hearing materialsAbout Us:
