Lederman is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our innovative and supportive team in Contra Costa County. What We're Looking For A proactive, detail-oriented paralegal with a strong interest in family law Excellent organizational and legal writing skills Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet billable hour expectations High proficiency with legal technology (Excel, Word, Acrobat, family law case-management software) Key Responsibilities Draft pleadings, declarations, discovery, disclosures, motions, and stipulations under attorney supervision Organize and maintain digital and physical case files Assist attorneys with trial and hearing preparation, including trial binders and discovery analysis Communicate professionally with fellow staff members, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of work Qualifications 3+ years of California family law paralegal experience Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution or a Juris Doctor degree Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience with trial preparation and family law document drafting Spanish proficiency preferred but not required To apply: Please submit your résumé, cover letter, references, and a writing sample
