Porter Kiakona Kopper, LLC (PKK) is a Honolulu-based law firm that provides comprehensive legal counsel in various areas of law. Our experienced attorneys specialize in condominium and community association law, real estate law, commercial litigation, and construction litigation. We approach conflict resolution strategically, considering financially sound legal alternatives before moving forward with litigation. Our attorneys are fully prepared to file a suit when necessary and are known for successful outcomes. This is a full-time role located in Honolulu, HI, with flexibility for some remote work. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with partners and senior associates on cases, conduct legal research, provide legal advice, negotiate with opposing parties or counsel, and represent clients in court or at meetings.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong knowledge of law related to the areas of practice of PKK Ability to conduct independent and effective legal research Strong negotiation and advocacy skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well independently and in a team Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Admission to the Hawaii Bar association Work experience in a law firm or legal setting
Requirements:
Must be licensed in Hawaii Litigation experience a plus Must have good time management skills & be highly organized
