Job Description
Immigration Attorney 1344 South Division Street, Salisbury, MD 21804 Hybrid work $60,000
- $70,000 a year

- Counsel and advise clients on immigration options
- Represent clients in immigration and Maryland courts
- Prepare immigration applications and supporting documentation
- Draft legal correspondence
- Conduct research on legal issues
- Assist the community in legal clinics and workshops
- Communicate with law enforcement, government officials, and other attorneys on cases
- Participate in CLE trainings on immigration and related topics
- Other tasks as assigned by the managing attorney
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Law degree (J.D.)
- Member in good standing of a state bar (preferably Maryland)
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
- Strong legal writing ability
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proficiency in computer programs (including
Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, and Outlook)- Knowledge of immigration law, courtroom experience, or working with the immigrant community preferred Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills.
