In-House Litigation Counsel / Strategic Legal Operations Counsel

The company has operated for many years in the telecommunications and analytics space and is currently involved in complex business litigation, operational restructuring, and strategic growth initiatives. Position Overview We are building a modern internal legal and litigation operations capability designed to leverage AI, evidence systems, structured workflows, and operational discipline to manage litigation and legal strategy more efficiently than traditional outside-counsel models. We are seeking a highly motivated attorney to work directly with executive leadership on active litigation, legal operations, discovery management, strategic legal projects, and internal legal infrastructure. This is not a traditional law firm role. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, intellectually curious, highly organized, technology-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment involving complex litigation and operational strategy. The attorney will work closely with leadership while maintaining independent legal judgment and professional responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Manage active litigation matters and coordinate litigation strategy
• Draft and review motions, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and litigation-related proceedings
• Organize and manage complex evidence repositories and discovery workflows
• Work with AI-assisted litigation tools and evidence systems
• Develop deposition outlines, witness strategies, and litigation chronologies
• Coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, experts, and investigators where necessary
• Provide legal guidance on operational and business matters
• Assist with contracts, employment matters, compliance, and dispute resolution
• Help build scalable legal operations processes and internal legal infrastructure Ideal Candidate
• Utah licensed attorney in good standing
• 2-8 years litigation or business law experience preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• Comfortable with technology and AI-assisted workflows
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Able to manage large amounts of information efficiently
• Comfortable working directly with executive leadership
• Strong independent judgment and professionalism Compensation
• Base salary: $120,000
• 150,000 depending on experience
