Senior Associate - Insurance Coverage & Litigation Chicago, IL | Hybrid Role The Role We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of insurance coverage and litigation experience to step into a substantive, client-facing role. This position offers immediate responsibility handling claims from inception through resolution, including active litigation responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel on insurance coverage matters
• Draft detailed coverage opinions, dispositive motions, and high-level research memoranda
• Manage claims from initial notice through settlement and/or trial
• Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Work directly with partners and clients on domestic and international matters

What We're Looking For Experience:

5+ years of insurance coverage

Skills:

Exceptional legal writing and analytical ability; strategic mindset required

Approach:

Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating closely with partners

Credentials:

Strong academic background and active Illinois Bar license

Mindset:
