Job Description

Major, Lindsey & Africa's Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Commercial SaaS Counsel.
Overview:
Our client offers a cloud-based platform that enables organizations to streamline and optimize the entire hiring lifecycle—from attracting and engaging candidates through onboarding.

Technology Experience:
Seeking candidates with 7+ years of experience in technology transactions, with a strong focus on drafting and negotiating SaaS vendor agreements.
Location:
Remote (East Coast hours)
Responsibilities Include:
Negotiate complex global Strategic and Enterprise customer, partner, reseller, and vendor contracts, with minimal need for escalation on commonly negotiated issues/topics. Commercial SaaS experience on the vendor side is a required. Act as an advisor to internal customers on a variety of legal matters. Support execution of commercial, product, and strategic initiatives by understanding and providing guidance on the relevant legal issues, including creating or updating templates and policies, as necessary. Partner to assist the business with disruption response for issues outside of normal business expectations, including incidents related to security, privacy, disaster recovery, and data integrity, as necessary.
Qualifications Include:
A minimum of 7 years of experience negotiating complex software as a service, software licensing, professional services, and/or other technology transactions is required. Must be admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction Ability to handle complex contracting issues while balancing a positive internal and external customer experience. Experience in researching and analyzing federal, state, local and international laws.
Pay Range:
