ARG is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Attorney specializing in Civil Litigation to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will assist a senior attorney in managing a diverse caseload, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and supporting litigation processes across various practice areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate legal professional eager to develop their expertise in civil law while contributing to impactful cases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong research and writing skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering exceptional legal support. Assist with handling civil litigation matters from pre-suit through post-judgment enforcement Draft and review pleadings, motions, affidavits, stipulations, and legal correspondence Prepare and file Summons & Complaints, motions, judgments, restraining notices, subpoenas, and enforcement-related documents Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and procedural rules Assist with settlement negotiations and payment arrangements Communicate with clients, defendants, courts, and outside counsel professionally and effectively Manage case deadlines and maintain accurate litigation tracking Attend court appearances, hearings, conferences, and proceedings as required Review contracts, funding agreements, guarantees, and supporting documentation Assist with post-judgment enforcement efforts including garnishments, executions, bank restraints, and domestication matters Work collaboratively with internal collections, legal, and operations teams Maintain organized electronic case files and detailed file notesQualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Must be actively licensed to practice law in New York New Jersey admission is a plus 1-3 years of civil litigation experience preferred Strong legal writing and analytical skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research tools, and case management systems Familiarity with commercial litigation, collections litigation, or creditor's rights is a plusPreferred Experience:
