Legal Call Center | Part-time |
Non-profit Tigard, OR Order:

Temp Legal Receptionist In this role, you will work in a call-center assisting clients by phone, screening applications for eligibility, and identifying the services they need. You will provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records. The position also involves collaborating with social service and legal networks to ensure clients are connected with the right resources.

 Part-time | 1:00pm-5:00pm | 6 mo. duration •Fully remote after training

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to referral requests from English- and Spanish-speaking clients via phone, email, in person, and written correspondence, providing accurate legal guidance. Screen applications for client eligibility in financial assistance programs based on program criteria and case type. Conduct confidential and sensitive interviews, delivering professional customer service while assessing client needs for legal ormunity resources. Identify the appropriate area of law and service type for each request, utilizing a custom database to manage attorney referrals by location and specialty. Ensure strict confidentiality of all applicant information inpliance with Oregon law and assist with additional duties as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience with office and financial record-keeping systems, reporting tools, and administrativeanization methods. Familiarity with the justice system and social service networks within the state. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a Windows environment. Skilled in data entry, database management, and information retrieval with high accuracy. Ability to type 40 WPM accurately.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at aputer or telephone. Occasional lifting of office materials up to 20 pounds and standard office mobility is also required.
