Litigation Associate

We're a small, growing defense litigation firm in Paramus looking for a 1-3 year associate who wants real responsibility—not just document review. You'll be handling cases, drafting motions, taking depositions, and getting into court early. What you'll be doing:

• Running cases with guidance (not just assisting)
• Drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Taking and defending depositions
• Court appearances
• Communicating with clients and carriers What we're looking for:
• 1-3 years of litigation experience
• NJ/NY admitted
• Solid writer who can think on their feet
• Someone who wants to actually litigate and take ownership

Compensation:

• $110K+ base (depending on experience)
• Bonus tied to billables (clear structure)
• Health insurance contribution
• PTO
