About the Job McNamara, Ahmed & Tripathy LLP, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney (2-4 years) to join our established practice with a focus on sophisticated commercial construction disputes. McNamara, Ahmed & Tripathy is a dynamic litigation firm based in Southborough, MA, with a primary focus in construction law. Our attorneys represent a broad range of clients, from general contractors and subcontractors to owners, design professionals, and insurers, across the full spectrum of construction, business, suretyship, employment, and insurance defense matters. About the Role and Responsibilities This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to develop a long-term career handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters with a strong emphasis on strategic advocacy, fostering long-term partnerships, and providing our clients with efficient resolutions. This position provides hands-on experience in complex commercial and civil litigation, including: Drafting pleadings, complaints, answers, affidavits, expert disclosures, dispositive motions, trial filings, and appellate briefs; Managing all phases of discovery, including interviewing witnesses, propounding and responding to discovery, and conducting and defending depositions; Attending Court for hearings and oral arguments, including participating in mediations and arbitrations; Conducting legal research, drafting memorandums, and conducting caselaw and regulatory analysis for advancement of matters; Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsels, adjustors on active matters; Maintaining efficient, effective and professional client communication through carriage of files. Qualifications for the Role 2-4 years of civil litigation experience (law firm experience in construction law preferred); Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters with increasing independence; Experience handling written discovery and conducting depositions; Excellent communication and client interface skills; Compensation & Benefits Meaningful courtroom and motion practice experience; Collaborative and team-oriented environment with personal growth, business development, and long-term career planning opportunities; Competitive compensation based upon experience and health insurance; Opportunity to work in a Hybrid setting; Paid vacation; Partnership track anticipated.
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
