Job Description

Litigation Attorney Raleigh $130,000- $310,000 Bonus Potential A respected regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its Raleigh office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience while working on a diverse range of sophisticated matters in a collaborative and supportive environment. The practice includes a broad mix of litigation matters, offering exposure to complex disputes involving insurance defense, commercial litigation, construction litigation, professional liability, healthcare litigation, employment matters, transportation claims, premises liability, product liability, and other civil litigation matters.
INDLIL Responsibilities:
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial preparation when necessary Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents Conduct and defend depositions Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings throughout North Carolina Handle a diverse caseload involving insurance defense, business disputes, professional liability, construction defect, healthcare litigation, employment claims, transportation matters, and general civil litigation Advise clients on risk exposure, litigation strategy, and dispute resolution Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective case management and resolution strategies Maintain responsibility for case management, deadlines, and client communications
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school Admission to the North Carolina Bar is required 2+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, employment litigation, healthcare litigation, professional liability, or a related practice area Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances preferred Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a busy caseload Strong client service and communication skills
