  • Contract Litigation Attorney (California) Zemel Law LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Attorney admitted to practice in all California state and federal courts.
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution. Responsibilities Handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation Draft and respond to complaints, answers, motions, discovery requests, and other legal filings Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, and briefs Appear in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures Develop case strategy and provide legal analysis and recommendations Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing Admitted to practice in all California state courts Admission to California federal district courts preferred Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience in consumer protection, FDCPA, FCRA, ADA, employment, or civil litigation is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Flexible work arrangements available Remote or hybrid opportunities may be considered Opportunity for professional growth within a growing litigation practice
