Single-family residential developments Condominium communities High-rise buildings Commercial and mixed-use properties Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 7+ years of civil litigation experience to join our Agoura Hills office. This role involves managing a wide range of HOA-related litigation matters from inception through resolution, while also supporting general counsel matters for HOA clients. HOA or real estate-related experience is strongly preferred but not required. We welcome strong litigators interested in developing expertise in this stable and specialized practice area. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, settlement, and trial preparation Handle court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Advise HOA boards and property managers on legal disputes, risk, and strategy Assist with general counsel matters, including reviewing governing documents, contracts, and providing day-to-day legal guidance to HOA clients Draft legal opinions, pleadings, and client communications Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality client service Maintain and manage an independent caseload efficiently Qualifications Active member of the California State Bar (in good standing) Minimum 7 years of civil litigation experience Experience in HOA, real estate, or business litigation preferred Interest or experience in transactional/general counsel work is a plus Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Ability to manage cases independently while working in a team environment Trial experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $150,000 - $185,000, depending on experience Higher compensation available for candidates with HOA or directly relevant experience $5,000 signing bonus (paid after 90 days) Quarterly production bonuses based on exceeding billable targets Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Flexible/hybrid work options CLE and professional development support Why Join Beaumont Tashjian?
