This position is ideal for an attorney who wants to work on a contract basis with flexible scheduling while supporting a growing consumer law practice. The firm operates with a remote support team that assists with administrative tasks and negotiations, while the attorney handles court appearances and legal representation when required. Although this is not a traditional full-time role, it offers strong earning potential as the caseload increases. Key Responsibilities
Represent consumers in credit card debt litigation and settlement matters.
Draft, review, and file pleadings in county court.
Appear in civil hearings related to consumer debt litigation.
Represent clients in county court proceedings.
Participate in mediations and pre-trial hearings.
Coordinate with the firm's remote legal support team regarding case updates and documentation.
Ensure compliance with Florida civil litigation procedures and court requirements. Requirements
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar and authorized to practice law in the State of Florida.
Fluent in both Spanish and English (mandatory).
Experience in consumer law, debt settlement, or credit card litigation preferred.
Ability to file pleadings and appear in civil court hearings.
Experience representing clients in mediations and pre-trial proceedings.
Strong understanding of Florida civil litigation procedures.
Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a remote support team. Work Structure
