What We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced Of Counsel or Partner-level attorney to step into a leadership role within our firm. This is not a mentored associate position. We need someone who has already put in the years, built the knowledge, and is ready to lead matters, grow client relationships, and help shape the direction of our probate and trust administration practice. We are open to attorneys with either an extensive civil litigation background or an extensive trust and estate and probate background who have transitioned into, or are ready to fully commit to, trust and estate work either litigation or administration. Our Ideal Candidate The right person walks in on day one and handles a complex civil litigation and administration probate estate or trust administration matters independently from opening to closing. They are a natural relationship-builder, a strong writer, a clear communicator, and the kind of attorney clients trust with their family's most important matters. They know how to lead a team of attorneys and paralegals effectively and are genuinely invested in mentoring the next generation. We are expanding our Palm Beach and Tequesta offices and are open to in-person, hybrid, or remote arrangements for the right candidate. Must-Have Experience Active Florida Bar license in good standing, with a minimum of 10 years of practice At least 10 years of civil litigation experience or probate and trust administration experience - best if you have a combination of both Proven track record handling complex probate estates and trust administrations independently from opening to closing Working command of the Florida Probate Code (F.S. Chapter 733), the Florida Trust Code (F.S. Chapter 736), and federal estate and gift tax law Experience with contested probate matters, will contests, trust disputes, or fiduciary litigation (required for candidates coming from a civil litigation background) Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor associates, paralegals, and support staff Ability to originate and develop client relationships; an existing book of business is preferred but not required Experience with high-net-worth estate planning and complex trust structures, including estates valued over $15 million Experience reviewing and approving court filings, petitions, pleadings, inventories, accountings, and estate and trust administration documents Florida Bar Board Certification in Wills, Trusts & Estates is a strong plus; willingness to pursue certification is expected Compensation and Benefits Our pay range reflects the level of experience we are seeking and includes a strong base salary plus a bonus structure tied to business development for those who are entrepreneurially inclined. We are seeking a full-time attorney to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as an exempt employee. Benefits begin after a three-month probationary period. •Note this can be flexible regarding days and time and remote work is possible.
