Plaintiff Trial Attorney - Bad Faith, Personal Injury & Cannabis Litigation A highly respected litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Trial Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join its dynamic team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who wants high-level litigation work, autonomy over their cases, and the ability to build or expand their own book of business without being micromanaged. This Plaintiff Attorney opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated and diverse litigation matters including bad faith insurance disputes, plaintiff personal injury cases involving auto accidents and property damage, and a rapidly growing cannabis law practice. The ideal Plaintiff Attorney will be comfortable managing cases independently from intake through trial and must be capable of handling trials on their own as either a seasoned 1st chair or experienced 2nd chair attorney ready to lead. The firm is deeply involved in cannabis law and represents clients in one of the fastest-growing legal sectors in the country, making this an exciting opportunity for a Plaintiff Attorney looking to expand their practice in emerging areas of litigation. Responsibilities Handle plaintiff litigation matters from inception through verdict Manage bad faith insurance disputes and plaintiff personal injury cases Conduct hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial-related documents independently Work with clients in both larger jurisdictions and smaller community courthouses Utilize PACER and federal court filing systems effectively Develop litigation strategy and maintain strong client communication Qualifications 5+ years of litigation experience Strong background as a Plaintiff Attorney handling bad faith and personal injury matters Trial experience as 1st or 2nd chair with the ability to independently handle trial Licensed in federal court or ability to obtain admission quickly Strong drafting and motion practice skills Experience with PACER legal software Comfortable practicing in smaller courthouse environments Highly motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial mindset What the Firm Offers Hybrid work flexibility Paid health insurance Bonus opportunities Opportunity to build or grow your own book of business High level of autonomy and trust Collaborative and supportive litigation environment Diverse and sophisticated caseload including cannabis litigation matters This is an exceptional opportunity for a Plaintiff Attorney who wants meaningful courtroom experience, freedom to practice law without micromanagement, and the ability to grow long term with a forward-thinking litigation firm.
