Commercial Bankruptcy Associate πŸ“ Raleigh, NC | Full-Time A respected and growing law firm is seeking a Commercial Bankruptcy Associate with 4+ years of experience to join its established bankruptcy and restructuring practice. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated corporate restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters while gaining significant client exposure and responsibility. The firm is looking for an attorney who enjoys solving complex business challenges, collaborating with clients, and contributing to a high-performing team environment.
What You'll Work On:
  • Corporate restructuring and insolvency matters
  • Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 12 bankruptcy proceedings
  • Representation of debtors, creditors, trustees, and committees
  • Distressed asset transactions and workouts
  • Adversary proceedings and bankruptcy-related litigation
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings
  • Direct collaboration with clients and senior attorneys on complex matters
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Minimum 4 years of commercial or corporate bankruptcy experience
  • Licensed in North Carolina or eligible for admission
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively
  • Federal clerkship experience is a plus
