Senior Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney - Massachusetts Bar License Do you have a successful track record representing clients and are interested in mentoring the next generation of legal professionals? Our firm is seeking an experienced senior attorney who is adept at handling a large caseload and familiar with all aspects of the trial process, particularly drafting pleadings, motions, notices, and working toward a resolution. Responsibilities:
Conduct client meetings to develop custom estate planning and elder law strategies. Draft and review estate planning documents, including Revocable Living Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Proxies. Handle estate administration and probate matters, assisting families in efficiently navigating the legal process after the passing of a loved one. Advocate for seniors and their families in matters of long-term care planning, Medicaid planning, and guardianship. Represent clients in probate court proceedings, trust administration matters, and elder law cases. Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants, delegating work while maintaining oversight. Stay up to date on changes in Massachusetts estate planning, probate, and elder law to ensure clients receive the most current legal guidance. Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, probate, and elder law. Strong case management skills and the ability to navigate Massachusetts probate and elder law processes with confidence. A client-first mindset—seeing each case as an opportunity to protect and support families through life's transitions. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to handle complex cases independently while also collaborating with a dedicated legal team. Active member in good standing with the Massachusetts State Bar. Experience advocating for clients in probate hearings, elder law disputes, and Medicaid planning cases.

Punctual, professional, and dedicated to providing exceptional client service. 5 years of required experience as a senior associate in the legal field Completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree, as well as 3-year law degree from an accredited law school Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills Admitted to local and state bar associations Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
Compensation:
