Opportunity:
We are a boutique litigation and business law practice seeking an experienced, highly motivated litigation attorney to assist on several sophisticated commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate is someone who can quickly become an integral member of our team and enjoys working independently with minimal supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished litigator who enjoys challenging, complex cases without the administrative burdens of a traditional law firm construct.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will play a significant role in all phases of litigation, including: Drafting pleadings, motions and legal memoranda Preparing and responding to written discovery Taking and defending depositions Conducting legal research and developing litigation strategy
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 7 years of experience handling sophisticated business and commercial disputes in California Superior Courts strongly preferred Experience as first-chair or second-chair at multiple trials and depositions Experience arguing contested motions
Compensation:
$250 - $350 per hour (depending on experience, skill level and demonstrated litigation ability)
