Job Description

Senior Trust Officer - Estate Settlement Paradise Valley, AZ $130,000-$155,000 Base + Bonus This is an opportunity to join a highly respected boutique trust company where Senior Trust Officers are empowered to focus on relationships, fiduciary oversight, and complex estate matters — not buried in administrative work. With dedicated Trust Administrator support, lower account loads, strong leadership, and a collaborative environment, this role offers the ability to do meaningful, high-level fiduciary work while maintaining strong work-life balance. What You'll Be Doing Lead estate and trust settlement engagements from intake through final distribution Gather, value, and coordinate estate assets and account closures Manage beneficiary communications with professionalism and empathy Coordinate with attorneys, CPAs, advisors, and courts throughout probate and settlement processes Review and interpret wills, trusts, and estate planning documents Oversee payment of debts, expenses, and fiduciary tax-related matters Maintain accurate fiduciary documentation, reporting, and compliance standards What We're Looking For 8+ years of trust and estate administration experience Strong estate/death settlement experience required Deep understanding of fiduciary principles and probate administration Experience working with estate attorneys and courts Knowledge of fiduciary taxation, estate tax, and trust administration CTFA preferred | JD or CPA is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to navigate sensitive family situations Additional Highlights Hybrid schedule — Fridays remote Dedicated Trust Administrator support Low account volume / high-touch environment Strong bonus structure and leadership team Minimal travel required MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
