Mary Jane M. Elliott, P.C., an established boutique creditor's rights firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Novi office. This position offers hands-on experience managing cases from placement through judgment and collection, along with meaningful responsibility and opportunity for growth.

Position Overview:

The selected candidate will manage a caseload from inception through resolution, including litigation, judgment, and post-judgment collection proceedings. The role involves regular court appearances (primarily via Zoom) and direct client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage cases from placement through judgment and collection Evaluate matters and develop effective litigation strategies Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and related filings Appear at court hearings (primarily Zoom) Communicate with clients regarding case status and strategy Negotiate settlements and resolve matters efficiently

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan (required) Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling hearings independently

Preferred Experience:
