What You'll Do:
Represent clients in workers' compensation cases across various stages of litigation Conduct legal research and offer strategic legal advice Draft legal documents including pleadings and motions Handle depositions, hearings, and court appearances Negotiate settlements effectively and ethically Maintain organized case files and adhere to internal protocols Build and nurture client relationships through proactive communication
What We're Looking For:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Active member of the California State Bar (required) Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in complex legal matters Strong verbal and written communication Comfortable using legal tech platforms and tools Minimum of 2 years WC defense experience Prior experience in workers' compensation law is strongly preferred
