Job Description

Required Education:
  • Juris DoctorateRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Experience drafting legal contracts
  • Procurement or government contracting experience
  • Familiarity with public sector regulations
  • Experience with legal research platforms such as
Westlaw or LexisNexisLegal Contracts Associate Job Responsibilities:
  • Draft legal contracts, agreements, amendments, and related legal documents
  • Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and procurement-related documents
  • Conduct legal research using applicable statutes, regulations, case law, and legal resources
  • Assist with contract review, negotiation support, and contract administration
  • Monitor active contracts to ensure compliance with legal and departmental requirements
  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal stakeholders to support procurement and legal initiatives
  • Perform additional legal support duties as assigned
