Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an exceptional associate attorney to join the estate planning, probate administration, and probate litigation team. Appropriate education and background in business, tax, accounting, finance, banking, or similar training and experience is necessary, in addition to membership in the South Carolina Bar. Our team guides clients through complex estate planning, including wills, trusts, and estate administration, and frequently includes trust and estate litigation in probate court or state circuit court. Our focus is to deliver strategic legal solutions tailored to each client's unique needs. Familiarity with federal and state tax laws and regulations is required, enabling us to provide comprehensive tax planning and compliance services that minimize liabilities. In addition to estate and tax expertise, we advise numerous businesses from startups to established enterprises on various matters, including entity formation, contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and ongoing corporate governance, both in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. We are seeking a self-starter with a commitment to providing practical, results-oriented, legal counsel while maintaining a client-focused approach. Must have the ability to navigate complex legal challenges with professionalism and personal skill, always prioritizing the best interest of the clients.   • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the SC BAR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
