Job Description

Supervising Attorney - Plaintiff Litigation (Leadership Role) Columbia, SC | On-site An established and growing plaintiff firm in Columbia is seeking a senior-level Supervising Attorney to lead and develop its litigation team as the firm continues to expand in both case volume and complexity. This is a for an experienced plaintiff's attorney who is ready to move beyond managing an individual caseload and take on broader responsibility for attorney performance, litigation standards, and team development. You will play a central role in shaping how cases are handled, how attorneys are trained and supported, and how the team executes as the firm continues to grow. What you will do Lead and manage a team of plaintiff attorneys, with responsibility for case progression, quality of work, and overall performance. Provide ongoing guidance on litigation strategy, including case development, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Train and mentor attorneys through regular case review and direct coaching. Work closely with operations leadership to improve efficiency across the case lifecycle and address workflow bottlenecks. Serve as a senior resource on complex matters and help ensure consistency in litigation approach across the team. Qualifications 10+ years of plaintiff litigation experience, ideally within personal injury or a related practice area. Active South Carolina bar license in good standing. Prior experience supervising, mentoring, or managing attorneys. Strong knowledge of South Carolina civil procedure and litigation practice. Salary Information:
Base salary of $225k - $300k, plus bonus
Pay:
$225,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
