Job Description:
Foster Law Firm, located in Greenville, South Carolina, is seeking a motivated and dedicated Associate to join our team. Our firm specializes in ERISA and insurance law issues on the plaintiff's side, primarily focusing on representing client claims for short-term and long-term disability, health insurance, life insurance, and retirement benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in insurance litigation and a desire to gain hands-on experience in a client-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
- Review and analyze client files, insurance policies, and medical records.
- Assist in preparing for appeals, hearings, and oral arguments.
- Attend client meetings, court hearings, and other firm-related events as needed.
Hiring Criteria:
- Graduate of an accredited law school.
- Licensed attorney or preparing for the upcoming bar exam.
- Strong academic performance with a demonstrated interest in ERISA, insurance law, and disability benefits.
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
