We help individuals, families, business owners, and professionals protect their families, preserve their assets, and plan confidently for the future. We are growing our Charleston office and are looking for an Estate Planning Attorney who wants to do meaningful client work, build trusted professional relationships, and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking legal team. The Opportunity This is not a back-office drafting-only role. We are looking for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients, explaining complex planning concepts in a practical way, and helping families make thoughtful decisions about their legacy. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, confident in client meetings, and interested in helping grow our Charleston estate planning practice. This is an in-office role based in Charleston, though our firm also serves clients remotely. Responsibilities Meet with clients in person and by video conference to advise them on estate planning and asset protection matters Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related planning documents Counsel clients on gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies Work with attorneys and support staff across multiple offices to deliver a high-quality client experience Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other allied professionals to develop and implement planning strategies Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the Charleston estate planning practice Requirements Licensed to practice law in South Carolina At least 3 years of estate planning experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills A practical, client-centered approach to counseling families and business owners Comfort working both independently and as part of a team Interest in professional relationship-building and referral development This role is best suited for someone who enjoys meaningful client interaction, team collaboration, and active participation in the growth of the practice. Preferred Qualifications Admission to additional state bars Experience with estate planning drafting software Familiarity with Medicaid planning VA accreditation LL.M. in Taxation or other advanced certifications Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Bonus opportunities How to Apply Please submit a resume, legal writing sample, and a cover letter.
