In-Office with Flexibility | Full-Time About the Opportunity A respected and growing law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney to join its team in Memphis or Nashville, Tennessee . This role offers the opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals and families , advising on sophisticated estate planning strategies while building long-term client relationships. The firm offers a highly collaborative and supportive environment with strong administrative support, allowing attorneys to focus on delivering exceptional client service. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients on estate planning strategies, including trusts, wealth transfer, and tax-efficient planning. Attorneys who bring portable business or an existing client base are welcome and will be supported in continuing to grow their practice. This role can accommodate attorneys seeking to operate in a semi-autonomous or solo-style practice within a firm platform , while benefiting from shared resources, reputation, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning strategies Draft and implement estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and wealth transfer structures Provide guidance on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning Assist clients with business succession planning and asset protection strategies Maintain long-term client relationships and provide ongoing counsel as estate planning needs evolve Collaborate with attorneys and advisors across related practice areas as needed Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed or the ability to become licensed in Tennessee Experience in estate planning and wealth transfer planning LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred , but not required Experience working with high-net-worth clients Strong drafting, analytical, and client relationship skills Portable business or book of clients welcomed but not required What the Firm Offers Opportunity to work with high-net-worth clientele Flexible structure for attorneys with an existing book of business Strong administrative and operational support Collaborative culture with long-term growth potential Competitive compensation structure based on experience and business development Apply here or reach out confidentially by emailing your resume to aimee.zak@gogpac.com All conversations are held in high confidentiality.
