Voted one of the Best Places to Work in Collections in 2023, 2024, & 2025, DLF Law Group LLC focuses on collection litigation and enforcement of creditor's rights in Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Tennessee, Minnesota, and Illinois. DLF Law Group represents a variety of creditors, including banks, credit unions, health care organizations, insurance companies, medical providers, auto lenders, and a variety of other commercial entities. We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our Tennessee team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high quality legal services in our fast-paced environment.
Qualifications :
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively Comfortable working with legal software Ability to handle negotiations Strong analytical and research skills
Responsibilities :
Represent clients in initial appearances, pre-trial conferences, motions, scheduling conferences, hearings, trials, and post-judgment matters Engage in settlement negotiations Maintain communications with clients Coordinate with local counsel Oversee due diligence on both pre- and post-judgment matters Draft and review legals briefs, correspondence, pleadings, and other documents Handle discovery requests Travel to various courts throughout Tennessee and manage all aspects of a case's litigation lifecycle Research and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations Perform other duties as assigned
