Overview The Vice President of Global Contracts will serve as a senior leader within the law department, partnering closely with the General Counsel and the executive team to lead our global commercial contracting strategy and execution. This leader will own the end-to-end customer contracting function across our global business, will oversee high-volume, revenue-generating contract workflows, will personally negotiate our highest-value complex enterprise deals, and will ensure scalable, compliant contracting practices that support global growth. The role requires deep expertise in the sales side of commercial contracting for technology- and data- driven services to enterprise-level customers. Success in the role requires getting the deals done. This position is located at our downtown office in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities Consolidate, own, and lead the global commercial contracting function, supporting enterprise sales and technology-enabled service offerings across our global business Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Revenue Operations, Partnerships, and Product teams to accelerate deal velocity while managing legal risk Lead negotiation of complex, high-value enterprise customer agreements and partner/channel agreements Oversee and develop a globally distributed team of attorneys and contract professionals Scale and optimize the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system, including full adoption, governance, and continuous improvement of CLM systems Develop and maintain global contracting playbooks, training, fallback positions, and risk frameworks tailored to our services. Drive consistency in contracting standards across regions Align with global data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCRA, GDPR, and other regional frameworks) Build and track metrics of success (cycle time, win rate impact, deviation from standards, etc.) Partner with leadership to support strategic distribution and channel relationships, including applicant tracking system (ATS) and technology integrations Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice that balances risk with revenue growth objectives Regularly report contracting performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to the General Counsel and executive leadership Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited US law school or the equivalent from a foreign university Active bar membership in good standing in at least one US state Minimum 10+ years of legal experience in commercial contracting Minimum 4+ years experience in technology- or data-enabled service companies Demonstrated experience negotiating complex global enterprise agreements Deep expertise in customer-facing sales contracts, including technology- and data-enabled service agreements, data processing agreements, and distribution and channel agreements Proven track record supporting high-volume sales organizations Experience leading and scaling globally distributed legal or contracting teams Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems Strong understanding of global data privacy and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCRA, GDPR and similar regimes) Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced, highly regulated environment with evolving legal and business needs

They are intellectually curious by nature, proactively ask thoughtful questions, and are comfortable challenging assumptions to ensure clarity and accuracy. This individual possesses a keen eye for detail, with a proven ability to identify potential risks or issues and approach them with creativity and sound judgment to develop practical solutions. They are persuasive and collaborative, able to build alignment and consensus across stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats. From a technical standpoint, the candidate should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, along with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and at least two of the following: Excel, PowerPoint, or Visio. An interest in automation tools and process optimization is highly desirable.
