Job Description

Commercial Litigation Associate (2+ years) Our growing litigation practice is seeking a motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of experience handling complex business disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain substantial case responsibility, direct client interaction, and courtroom experience while working alongside experienced litigators. Responsibilities Manage commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda. Conduct legal research and develop case strategies. Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations. Manage all phases of discovery, including document review and written discovery. Communicate directly with clients regarding case status and litigation strategy. Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters. Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active license and good standing with the Texas state bar. Minimum 2 years of commercial litigation experience . Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery. Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple matters. Strong interpersonal and client communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience handling business torts, contract disputes, partnership disputes, construction litigation, or other complex commercial matters.
