Entry-Level to 2 Years Experience About Us We are a growing consumer bankruptcy law firm dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve financial relief through effective legal representation. Our firm values professionalism, compassion, and strong advocacy while providing exceptional service to our clients. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Arlington, Texas office. This position is ideal for a newly licensed attorney or an attorney with up to two years of experience who is interested in developing a career in consumer bankruptcy law. The Associate Attorney will work closely with experienced attorneys and staff while managing cases from intake through discharge. Responsibilities
  • Conduct client consultations and evaluate potential bankruptcy cases.
  • Prepare and review Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related pleadings.
  • Represent clients at Section 341 meetings and other bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status and legal options.
  • Review financial documents and analyze client eligibility for bankruptcy relief.
  • Respond to trustee inquiries, creditor objections, and court notices.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, responses, and other court filings.
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide excellent client service. Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and strong client-relations skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Prior bankruptcy experience is preferred but not required. Benefits
