Job Description

Established (75+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Civil Litigation Associate for Litigation Defense in Austin, TXAn established complex litigation firm with over 75+ years in practice and national recognition for its insurance and litigation defense work is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate with 2-6+ years of experience to join their team in Austin, TX. This position principally involves the defense of labor and employment and commercial matters, with active responsibility for depositions, hearings, and trials alongside ongoing client advisory work.
Offer:

Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of TexasBrings 2-6+ years of civil litigation experience with a defense orientationDemonstrates strong litigation skills across depositions, hearings, and trialsPossesses excellent advocacy and legal writing abilitiesHandles labor and employment and commercial disputes with confidenceCapable of managing a case independently while remaining receptive to partner direction

Defend clients in labor and employment and commercial litigation mattersConduct depositions, hearings, and trials with limited oversightDraft pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarityManage active caseloads from pre-suit posture through resolutionCollaborate with partners while independently advancing case strategyAdvise clients on litigation risk, compliance, and exposure
