Position Overview We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Construction and Real Estate Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a collaborative and organized environment, enjoys client interaction, and can manage shifting priorities with professionalism and ease. You will play a key role in supporting developers, contractors, property owners, and other stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters in the real estate and construction industries. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on real estate transactions, land use, zoning, permitting, and construction matters Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and construction-related legal documents Handle construction-related disputes, including defect claims, mechanic's liens, and project delays Support clients through litigation, arbitration, or mediation as needed Coordinate with colleagues and legal staff to ensure consistent and timely case progress Respond to urgent matters while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Communicate clearly and positively with clients, regulators, and opposing counsel Stay up to date on relevant local, state, and federal legal developments Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Texas 3+ years of experience in construction law, real estate law, or both Strong legal drafting, research, and communication skills Comfortable working within a structured, policy-driven environment Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Capable of managing multiple cases and shifting priorities in a dynamic setting Ideal Candidate Attributes Cooperative and team-focused Communicative and socially confident Structured and process-oriented Adaptable to changing tasks and priorities Client-focused with a strong work ethic
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$75,000 - $150,000 per year (based on experience and schedule)

Schedule:
8-hour shift Monday to Friday (potential weekend work as matters require)
