Pre-Litigation Attorney

The McCormick Law Firm is seeking multiple pre-litigation attorneys for our growing national injury practice. We are expanding our teams in north Texas. We are one of the nation's fastest growing personal injury firms with over 100 employees and 20 attorneys. We are headquartered in Euless, Texas. We sign new cases in at least 10 states every day. The primary responsibilities of a Pre-Litigation Injury Attorney are: 1. Manage about 100 cases along with two team members. 2. Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers in order to resolve a case quickly and efficiently. 3. Be guided by and learn from your managing attorney. 4. Manage the settlement and breakdown process. 5. File suit and serve defendants petitions approved for litigation. We offer a generous compensation plan for this position. It is structured as a base salary plus bonus. Entry level attorneys can expect to earn between $85,000 - $100,000 their first year with a range increase of $100,000 - $125,000 their second year. We have 3-5 year pre-litigation attorneys earning in excess of $200,000 annually. We offer up to three weeks of paid time off, two weeks of paid holidays, paid maternity/ paternity leave and full medical/dental benefits. We offer a moving stipend to candidates who relocate for the position. Staff attorney referrals to the firm earn up to 50% fee share. We are a volume business with a drive for quick and efficient results for our clients. We expect hard work while you are in office, but work life balance is a priority. Overtime is not required and an 8-5 work day should be expected. You must be a licensed Texas attorney in good standing or awaiting UBE bar results to qualify for this position.
