Job Description

We are looking for a real estate transactional attorney to join a respected law firm in Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer who wants hands-on involvement in sophisticated commercial property matters while working closely with experienced practitioners and clients. The position offers broad exposure to acquisitions, leasing, development, and financing matters in a collaborative environment that supports long-term career growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support commercial real estate matters through each phase of a transaction, from initial structuring through closing.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, sale documents, and related contracts for improved and unimproved property transfers.
  • Draft and revise commercial lease documents for a range of asset classes, including office, retail, and industrial properties.
  • Conduct transactional due diligence by examining title commitments, surveys, zoning materials, and other property-related records.
  • Assist with real estate lending matters representing borrower or lender interests in financing transactions.
  • Coordinate with title companies, brokers, lenders, clients, and opposing counsel to address issues and maintain transaction timelines.
  • Advise clients on deal terms, ownership structures, and practical legal considerations affecting commercial real estate investments.
  • Partner with attorneys in related practice areas when transactions involve corporate, operational, or investment components.
  • Support developers, owners, buyers, and investors across a variety of commercial real estate projects and closings.
