Texas Civil Litigation Attorney (Real Estate Matters)
Compensation:
$3,500 - $8,000+ per month depending on experience, involvement, and active matters. Additional compensation available for hearings, trials, appeals, emergency matters, and expanded litigation involvement.
Position Type:
Contract / Outside Counsel / Long-Term Relationship Overview We are seeking a Texas-licensed litigation attorney interested in establishing an ongoing working relationship involving active civil litigation, real estate disputes, business matters, and related legal work throughout DFW. This opportunity is ideal for a solo practitioner or small litigation firm seeking consistent monthly work, flexibility, and direct involvement in active matters without the structure of a traditional firm environment. We are looking for someone practical, responsive, and comfortable handling litigation-related matters efficiently while working closely with decision-makers on ongoing cases and operational issues. Current Matters May Include Civil litigation Real estate and property disputes Contract disputes Motion practice and hearings Business-related matters Litigation strategy and case coordination Appellate support and strategy (preferred but not required) Responsibilities Review pleadings, motions, contracts, and legal correspondence Provide litigation strategy and practical legal guidance Assist with active case management and dispute resolution Appear at hearings or court proceedings when necessary Coordinate with experts, consultants, and related parties Support ongoing litigation and operational matters Preferred Experience Strong litigation background Courtroom and hearing experience Real estate or property-related matters Strong legal writing and analytical ability Ability to operate independently and efficiently Appeals or federal court experience is a plus What We Offer Consistent ongoing workflow Flexible structure Direct access to decision-makers Long-term relationship potential Recurring monthly retainer structure Additional compensation for expanded litigation involvement Requirements Licensed to practice law in Texas Litigation experience preferred Strong communication and responsiveness Ability to travel for occasional hearings or meetings Work Structure Primarily remote with occasional travel depending on hearings, meetings, or litigation needs. This is intended to be a long-term working relationship with ongoing matters rather than a one-time project. Application Questions What areas of law do you primarily practice?
