With a legacy spanning over 43 years, our firm provides exceptional legal services to clients in the areas of removal defense and family-based immigration law. Position Overview :
We are looking to add a motivated and detailed-oriented immigration attorney to handle a high-volume caseload focused on USCIS filings, Consular Processing, and Waiver applications. The ideal candidate is organized, client-focused, and capable of managing cases from intake through final resolution while maintaining excellent communication with clients and staff. This position involves extensive work with family-based immigration matters, inadmissibility issues, and immigrant visa processing. Spanish speaking abilities and prior immigration experience is required.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Prepare and file a variety of USCIS applications and petitions, including family and humanitarian-based applications, adjustment of status applications, work permits, travel permits, naturalization applications, and related filings
  • Handle immigrant visa consular processing cases through the National Visa Center (NVC) and U.S. consulates abroad
  • Represent clients at USCIS interviews
  • Prepare and oversee waiver applications, including I-601, I-601A, and related hardship-based filings
  • Conduct legal consultations and evaluate eligibility for immigration benefits
  • Help find and analyze criminal records
  • Draft legal arguments, support letters, and complex case submissions
  • Review supporting evidence and ensure filings are accurate and complete
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy, updates, and requests for evidence
  • Supervise paralegals and legal assistants assigned to cases
  • Monitor case deadlines and maintain organized case management systems
  • Stay informed on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with managing partners and senior attorneys on complex cases
  • Back-up for appearing at immigration court hearings and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and affidavits for Immigration Court and the
BIA Qualifications :
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active state bar membership
  • Fluency in Spanish is required
  • Experience with immigration law in a law school clinic, non-profit, or private law firm particularly with USCIS, waivers, and consular processing
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Compensation :
  • Salary $85,000
  • $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, plus end-of-year bonus
