FEP Family Partner | Longview Sabine Valley Regional MHMR Center - 3.6 Longview, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Working with families Working with individuals with mental health conditions Working with families with children Full Job Description Job scope: Delivery of contract requirement services to children and their families in an outpatient setting. Services will be provided in individual, family and group settings. The Family partner develops and maintains a data collection system indicating referrals, resources, and barriers to treatment. The Family Partner will assist care givers in accessing social supports, assist with achieving plan of care objectives, lead educational meetings, and provide mentoring. Staff member completes Medicaid Administrative Claiming. Adjunctive services include coordination with other providers/agencies, staffing, and serving as resource for other staff. The Family partner will use professional and technical skills as described in Core Competency Inventory.
Education/licensure:
High School Diploma or higher Experience as a parent of child treated for emotional problems Current valid driver's license in state of residence. Able/willing to obtain/maintain certification as set forth by TAC as a Certified Family Partner.
Experience/Knowledge:
Experienced parent of a child or young adult with serious emotional disturbance . Must be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication. Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job: Ability and strength to sit, bend, and reach during an 8 to 10 hour day. Able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds. Sensory acuity sufficient to evaluate, treat, and monitor patient needs and maintain accurate records. Fine motor skills sufficient to legibly document or communicate. Routine 8 to 10 hour shifts with weekends off.
